Rails 1.0

Two years after starting working with Ruby, David Heinemeier Hansson announces the release of Rails 1.0 and a brand new Ruby on Rails web site. This new web development framework has gained a lot of traction since its debuts at 37Signals, and is already powering some interesting applications and ventures. I don't know if Rails 2.0 will fuel Web 3.0, but it's already an established member of Web 2.0.
