Macs do Windows, too

Apple introduces Boot Camp (currently a public beta), a technology it will include in the next major release of Mac OS X, Leopard, that lets you install and run the Windows XP operating system on a Mac with an Intel processor.

As Ars Technica notes: "BootCamp makes Apple the only hardware manufacturer that can boast that they support running just about every modern operating system on a single machine."

Neat! I'm not sure it signs the death of Virtual PC (what about running both Mac OS X and Windows at the same time, and the nice PC-in-a-file and other options of VPC?) but it's a good option to have for many people I know.
