Touch-and-go :

Touch-and-Go is a pilot’s term for a maneuver that is common when learning to fly an airplane.
It involves landing on a runway and then taking off again without coming to a stop. Usually the pilot then circles the airport and repeats the maneuver. This allows many landings, the most difficult part of flying, to be practiced in a relatively short time.

Touch-and-go est un terme de pilote qui désigne une manoeuvre courante d’apprentissage du pilotage.
Elle consiste à atterrir sur la piste et redécoller immédiatement sans s’arrêter. En règle générale le pilote fait le tour de l’aéroport et répète la manoeuvre. Ceci permet que de nombreux atterrissages, moment le plus difficile du vol, puissent être pratiqués en un minimum de temps.
